How long does it take to receive the bulbs?
Fall Fundraiser: We ship the bulbs to you within 2 weeks of receiving the Master Order Form which is due no later than October 27th.
How much profit does my organization make?
Brochure Fundraiser: 50% profit
Online Fundraiser: 35% profit
Who delivers the bulbs to customers? If you are participating in the brochure fundrasier your group delivers the bulbs. If it's the online fundraiser we deliver directly to the customer (the customer is required to pay shipping costs).
Is a prize program offered? Yes, we motivate your group members to work as hard as bees! We have 4 levels of awards:
How do we submit and receive the award prizes? Once you have received all the order forms from your group, the fundraising administrator will need to submit the "Award Order Form". Award flower bulb packages will be delivered together with the Fundraising bulbs.
How should we collect the money? We suggest that you collect all payments when you take your orders. All checks or money orders should be made payable to your organization. At the end of the fundraiser your organization will send one check to our office. You are only required to send us our portion of the sales (50%) plus sales tax if applicable. This way you keep your 50% and get your money right away!
How do we pay for the order? When you submit your master order form, it MUST include your group's payment for the order. Preferred payment is by business or school check, cashier's check or money order payable to EcoTulips LLC. Sorry we don’t accept credit cards.
How do you handle sales tax? Products shipped to Virginia State customers are subject to a 5% Virginia sales tax.
What if my organization is tax exempt? If your organization is tax exempt, you will not be required to pay sales tax if you send us a Tax Exempt form or letter before you submit your order.
How do we submit the flower bulb order? Once you have received all the order forms from your group, the fundraising administrator will need to tally the order forms and fill out the "Master Order Form" and specify how many packages of each item was sold.
We need to receive the Master Order Form along with payment, by mail to our office no later than October 24th.
Do I need to mail in each member’s order form? We only need to receive a copy of each order form from VA organization who are NOT tax exempt.
Do I have to pay for the brochures? There is no charge for the brochures, however if you sell less then 25 packages of bulbs we ask you to send the brochures back or we charge $0.15 per brochure.
Can I return any unused or “as new looking” brochures? Yes, please help us to reuse, reduce, and recycle. Return any unused or as new looking brochure and receive $0.15 per returned brochure. Not valid for groups who sold less then 25 packages.
How do I handle any late or add-on orders? If you have customers that want to purchase bulbs after the deadline they can go online to our store and order their bulbs using a special "Promo Code" that we provide. We will ship the order directly to the customer (they will be required to pay shipping). 35% of their purchase will go towards your organization’s fundraiser. (see Online Fundraising for more info)
How long should I run a brochure fundraiser? It is smart to put a time limit on order taking, to keep everybody motivated. We suggest 10 to 14 days.
How do I plan my fundraiser? First and most importantly,set the dates for your fundraiser. Have a clear start and end.
